An all female folk-pop quartet featuring Salt Spring Island local Marta McKeever (Keys, Vocals), and Vancouver locals: Diona Davies (Violin), Tess Kitchen (Trumpet), Terri Upton (Double Bass). They have been performing together since 2004 at folk festivals all over Canada. World class musicianship meets ethereal vocal, gorgeous harmonies, clever lyricism and a whole bunch of sass. "If Charlie Chaplin wrote songs with Bjork to be the soundtrack for a Tim Burton film, their collective musical result would come close to resembling the goodness, timelessness and otherworldliness of e.s.l."
