Hey friends! It is feeling rather remarkable that we are now rolling into our 8th year of running Salty Pear in its various forms and phases.
As we wind out of winter and take stock of where our focuses need to lie… we are taking things slow with our bookings - making some minor readjustments and recalibrations. If a calendar month looks fully booked it is likely not yet open. Please check back frequently as we will be rolling out openings two weeks to a month ahead at a time. Thanks for your patience!
Studio Suite
The studio/suite is adjacent to and in the same building as our studio/gallery, designed by in-house residential designer Jorge Siemsen. The suite has heated concrete floors and a Murphy bed. A 10min walk takes you to Ganges along forest paths. Sit on the covered south-facing deck gazing at field and forest. Your stay includes complimentary use of our DIY wood-burning barrel sauna.

Camping Casita
Settle into “glamorous camping”. The frogs will usher you to a restful sleep while bird song and rooster will wake you in the morning. Our neighbouring organic farm is the source of your complimentary fresh eggs and we will provide granola, coffee and milk to make your mornings. A colemans campfire and picnic table help to create the camp vibe. The private kitchen is separate but attached to the bedroom nook. Separate bathroom is private. Propane-heated outdoor shower/bath is private. Deck and surrounding pasture is private. A nearby trail takes you to town in 10 minutes through beautiful Mouat’s Provincial Park. The property has all-day sun and plenty of pasture to find your spot of relaxation.
The Camping Casita is only rented during better weather (April-October).
